Application Form for Study in Canada (For Nigerians)

The cost of studying in Canada is NOT cheap.

Tuition fee for educational institutions in Canada varies depending on your intended course of study, the duration of your program, the province where the school is located and many other factors.

In general, the average tuition fee in Canada can be anywhere between $18,000 to $35,000 CAD per year. And this does NOT include living expenses.

In order to apply for a Canada Study Permit/Visa, you must provide financial documents (e.g. a bank statement) that proof you/your sponsor has a minimum of your tuition fees for one year, plus $10,000 CAD living expenses.

Note: We currently do NOT help with Doctoral Degree (PhD, M.D, etc.) applications. If this is what you are looking for, you may stop completing this application at this point.

The Canadian schools we deal with, exempt Nigerians from providing proof of English language proficiency, so you are NOT expected to write TOEFL/IELTS exams.

For undergraduate applications, the student must have a WAEC/NECO result with a minimum of C6 (or C5 depending on the institution) in order for TOEFL/IELTS scores to be waived.

• WAEC/NECO result (with at least Five/Six credits, including English and Mathematics).

POSTGRADUATE APPLICATIONS:
For: Post-Graduate Diploma(PGD)/Certificate or Advanced Certificate Program
• International passport bio-data page.
• Undergraduate degree (university/polytechnic) certificate or statement of result.
• Undergraduate degree (university/polytechnic) transcripts.
• Any post-secondary qualification(s)/certificate(s).
For: Masters Program
• All the documents stated above for PGD, plus the below additional documents.
• CV/Resume (this can be provided at a later date).
• Statement of purpose or Intent Letter (this can be provided at a later date).
• Recommendation/References – 2 academic references or 1 academic & 1 work reference. Note that some institutions require 3 references (this can be provided at a later date).
